CROVECT Sheep Pour On Application Gun
A plastic pour-on gun for use with Crovect pour on for sheep.
Pack comes complete with gun, plastic tube and various nozzles.
How to apply to Crovect
It is important to use the Crovect applicator and the correct nozzle for the ectoparasite you are treating. Always calibrate before use. The applicator includes:
(1) fan spray nozzle for blowfly prevention
(2) t-bar nozzle for treatment of blowfly strike and for treating headflies
(3) pin-strip (straight) nozzle for lice and ticks – part the fleece and apply to the skin
Blowfly prevention
Apply as a fan-spray to the surface of the fleece on the back and hindquarters of the sheep using the Pour-On Gun fitted with the fan-spray nozzle.
Blowfly treatment
Apply directly using the T-bar nozzle only to the areas affected by strike. Ensure that all affected parts are treated.
Lice control
Using the straight nozzle on the Pour-on gun, apply as a pin-stream from the shoulders to the rump along the middle of the backline.
Headfly control
Apply to the top of the head between the ears using the T-bar nozzle. Take care not to apply product in the sheep’s eyes.
Tick control
Using the straight nozzle on the Pour-on gun, apply as a pin-stream from the crown of the head to the top of the rump.
